Enigma Life Sciences was founded in 2017 by Mark Veugelers, PhD, MBA.
Mark has over 10 years experience in scouting for and enabling the adoption of novel life sciences technologies.
Mark obtained his PhD in Medical Sciences from K.U.Leuven in 2000.
After a 4 year Postdoc in Cornell University, New York City, he joined VIB in 2004.
During his time at VIB, he obtained an MBA from Vlerick in 2008.
After many years of successfully running a Technology Scouting and implementation program at VIB, Mark left VIB in 2017 in order to found Enigma Life Sciences.
